Work
The Guild received a tourism grant to help promote the rich experiences and hospitality of Loudoun County, Virginia. Their goal was to increase both tourist visits and local awareness of the area’s diverse offerings. Loudoun County boasts beautiful landscapes, historic towns, and welcoming inns, and the Guild needed a visually engaging way to guide visitors to these destinations.
We created a suite of deliverables featuring custom illustrations to capture the essence of each B&B.
First, a destination brochure that combined artistry and utility to serve as a practical tool for trip planning — the front featured an illustrated map pinpointing each Bed & Breakfast member, bringing a playful yet refined visual style. The back provided detailed descriptions of each property, its amenities, and nearby attractions, offering travelers a full sense of the county’s charm.
The campaign proved to be a resounding success: 9,000 copies of the brochure were printed and distributed within just six months, warmly received by visitors and locals alike. To extend the campaign, we created promotional items — custom canvas tote bags, sticker sheets, and postcards — perfect for giveaways at events and visitor centers.
